Vivotek FD8372 Fixed Dome Camera

The Vivotek FD8372 Fixed Dome Metal Housing Camera is a 5 Megapixel, vandal-proof IK10-rated, weather-proof IP66-rated IP camera, suitable for demanding outdoor conditions. It can record Full HD up to 30 frames per second at 1080p and has triple codec (H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG) for real-time compression. With Smart Focus Technology from Vivotek, the FD8372 includes a Focus Assist Button, Remote Focus, and Installation Wizard 2 for easy once-and-done installation which makes it suitable for open spaces outdoors such as building entrances and airports. Since the FD8372 is made to withstand dust and rain, should this IP camera (and therefore the video image) be shaken out of focus by wind or bumped into, it's easy to use these new features to remotely control the focal length and bring the picture back into focus. The IK10-rated metal housing that encloses the camera keeps it safe from vandalism attempts and has tamper detection features to alert you to a significant change in the image, such as the lens being covered up.

The FD8372 also sports a removable IR-cut filter for maintaining crisp and clear images while the lighting may shift, and the WDR assists in enhancing particular situations from extremely bright days to dark environments. Other features include full duplex audio, 3 video motion detection regions, privacy masks, on-board storage (MicroSD/SDHC/SDXC card slot), live viewing for up to 10 clients, multi-level user access with password protection, IP address filtering, HTTPS encrypted data transmission and built-in 802.3af compliant PoE or can be powered with a 24V AC power supply.
