The Adtran MX408e Pseudowire Gateway, ROHS Compliant (1189608G1) provides the requisite interfaces and switching between a 10/100 Ethernet or GigE network port to four client 10/100 Ethernet ports and eight DSX-1 or E1 TDM ports.
The Adtran MX408e Pseudowire Gateway is a 19" rack mount unit with front panel data connections and two independent power feeds with separate returns. The MX408e Pseudowire Gateway from <ahref="/manufacturer/adtran">Adtranhas eight RJ48 short-haul, intrabuilding DSX-1/E1 connections, Ethernet switch with four Ethernet client ports, one RJ-45 network Ethernet port, one SFP socket for network 1000Base -X interface and RS-232 DB-9 Craft interface for access to provisioning, status, and test information via a Command Line interface (CLI).
With the MX408e Pseudowire Gateway you can provide management via Telnet over Ethernet connections or VT100 through local RS-232 DB-9 Craft port and management via a web-based GUI over Ethernet connections. The MX408e Pseudowire Gateway also features time-wrap pins for external alarm inputs, accepts redundant 60 to 20V DC inputs, has end-to-end extension of up to either T1s/E1s over Ethernet, manual and remote initiated loopback modes, meets NEBS Level 3 and SNMP.
