The Vivotek FE8171V is the first fisheye camera from Vivotek equipped with a lens for 180 degrees panoramic view from a wall mount or 360 degrees surround view from the floor, table, or ceiling, making it ideal for open areas such as airports, parking lots, shopping malls and retail stores. With 8X the wider field of view than VGA cameras, the Vivotek FE8171V offers 3.1MP-resolution without blind spots which can significantly reduce the need for multiple cameras.
As a true day/night camera, the FE8171V features a removable IR-cut filter which creates clear images at any time of day. The weather-proof housing is IP66-rated, ensuring optimal operation of the FE8171V during harsh weather conditions as well IK10-rated vandal-proof housing to provide surveillance protection from vandal tampering. Together with 802.3af compliant PoE, microSD/SDHC/SDXC card slot for on-board storage, EN50155 mobile surveillance, and iPad applications, the FE8171V is indisputably the top choice for constructing a robust surveillance system with the greatest coverage possible.
