This family of mobile DECT handsets delivers high-quality wireless voice communications to those who roam within a building or across a campus. The handsets offer all the benefits of the DECT standard, including high security, scalability, low power consumption and long talk/standby times. DECT incorporates high levels of security to protect against eavesdropping and unauthorized network access. It supports high densities of wireless voice communications, unaffected by heavy wireless LAN or other radio traffic.
These DECT phone handsets offer productivity features like SMS messaging, a Bluetooth headset interface, and PBX features like hold, conferencing, and messaging. To simplify management, they support remote configuration over the air or via cradle, 19 built-in user interface languages, and options for both IP DECT and ISDN DECT radio base stations. Standard network connectors and Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality make implementation and maintenance simple and inexpensive.
These phones work with the Avaya Aura® Platform and the Avaya IP Office™ Platform.
The 3740 IP DECT phone is designed to meet the needs of workers in tough environments that need an extremely shock-resistant and scratch proof phone. The 3740 phone is protected from liquid and dust, offers shock protection from 6.5 feet (1 to 2 meters), and can operate in temperatures from -10 °C to +55 °C. The phone includes 19 built-in UI languages (Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Polish, Greek, Hungarian, Brazilian Portuguese, Slovakian, Turkish and Russian).
The Avaya 3749 IP DECT phone is designed for workers in environments where an intrinsically safe device is required (i.e., chemical plants, mills) or an alarm button and sensors for man-down or no movement alarm are needed. The 3749 includes a Bluetooth headset interface, color display, push-to-talk capability, and up to 10 hours of talk time.
