The Mediatrix® 3000 Series are multi-service VoIP devices devices combining VoIP IAD, Gateway, IP Router, NAT/Firewall and QoS control in a secure and powerful platform.

This platform, featuring R2 CAS E1, ISDN E1 PRI, T1PRI, BRI, E&M E1/T1 PRI or FXS/FXO interfaces, provides an ideal solution for enterprise voice applications or for connecting to a service provider’s broadband access.

With FXO interfaces, it is the ideal solution to deploy private or hosted toll bypass networks. It provides a simple, transparent and cost-eff ective way of maintaining a connection to the PSTN. The Mediatrix 3000 Series also allows enterprises Service Providers, and System Integrators to deploy secure systems and generate additional revenue streams.

The Mediatrix 3000 series targets:

  • Enterprises with branch offices and remote offices, including SOHOs.
  • Enterprises seeking access to the benefits of Voice over IP preserving investments on existing legacy PBXs.
  • Enterprises looking to implement secure RTP (SRTP) and Secure SIP.
  • Enterprises wishing to implement Voice over IP through a gradual, transparent, and cost-effective migration.
  • Multi-tenant / multi-dwelling units and premises wishing to implement Voice over IP while maintaining existing wiring and handsets.

The Mediatrix 3000 series platforms are available with different packages including the Basic Digital Gateway.

  • 1 or 2 x 6 FXO + 2 FXS port cards, up to 16 simultaneous calls.
Mediatrix 3308 / 3316 – FXS
  • 1 or 2 x 7 FXS + 1 FXO port cards, up to 16 simultaneous calls.
Mediatrix 3404 / 3408 - BRI
  • 1 or 2 x 5 ISDN BRI port cards, 8 or 16 simultaneous calls, software configurable as NT or TE per card, configurable point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and connector pinout, cut-through relay for emergency operation (bypass connection).
Mediatrix 3531 / 3532 – PRI T1
  • 1 or 2 x ISDN PRI port cards, 23 or 46 simultaneous calls, NT/TE software configurable.
Mediatrix 3621 / 3631 / 3632 – PRI E1
  • 1 or 2 x ISDN PRI port cards, 15, 30 or 60 simultaneous calls, NT/TE software configurable.

  • 7 FXS + 1 FXO + T1/E1 PRI port cards, up to 37 simultaneous calls, software configurable as NT or TE.

  • 6 FXO + 2 FXS + T1/E1 port cards, up to 38 simultaneous calls, software configurable as NT or TE.
Mediatrix 3734
  • T1/E1 PRI + 5 ISDN BRI port cards, up to 38 simultaneous calls, software configurable as NT or TE.

  • 7 FXS + 1 FXO + 5 ISDN BRI port cards, up to 15 simultaneous calls, software configurable as NT or TE.

Voice Functionalities
  • Feature rich carrier grade product, Analog FXS, FXO, ISDN BRI, or T1/E1 PRI interface ports, Deployable in SIP VoIP networks, Up to 60 simultaneous calls, proven voice algorithms implemented on dedicated DSP engine for voice quality on each interface card.
Ease of configuration and management
  • User programmable call handling, remote management capabilities, multiple codec support, fax over IP support, including T.38, can support local VoIP network.
Security
  • Secured SIP signalling and media transmission, NAPT/Firewall, VPN, SNMPv3, SSH, HTTPS. Hardware ready and enhanced capable to support SRTP and SIP over TLS, TR-069 for massive deployments (optional feature available at purchase time).
Network functionalities
  • Complete VoIP-enabled IP router, TDM interfaces may be synchronized over the IP network with the Remote clock synchronization feature (‘Master’ unit required) – Mediatrix 3400/3734 models.
Mediatrix SDK (Software Development Kit)

IP Telephony Protocol
  • SIP, Multiple SIP Proxy support via DNS SRV, Multiple registrations, SIP over TLS, TCP and UDP. Seamless fallback across redundant servers. Multipple Virtual gateways, PRACK and UPDATE.
  • IPv6 addressing - Most network-related features of the Mediatrix unit receiving and sending packets on the Internet protocol can be used on both IPv4 and IPv6, OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) revocation status verification for TLS links, ANAT grouping in the SDP, Media stream may now be on a different network than SIP signalling, Call router automatic routes may now have multiple SIP gateways for sources and destinations.
