Q: I want to use the SPA8000 to install VOIP to replace 3 or more separate incoming landline circuits. The existing phone lines are all run over Cat5e. Is there an issue with the FXS ports driving the existing Cat5e installation?
A: Absolutely not. Cat5e cable should work fine with your phones system while 3 PSTN lines will go into your Cisco SPA8000 FXS ports.
