The Vivotek IP8331 Network Bullet Camera is an affordable option for outdoor surveillance applications. This day and night IP Camera is weather-proof with IP66-rated housing so it can handle harsh outdoor conditions such as rain and dust. Built-in IR Illuminators have an effective range up to 10 meters, a 1/4" CMOS Image Sensor in VGA resolution (640x480), and the dual-band lens makes it a true day/night camera capable of superior performance all wrapped up in a sleek, compact design. The Vivotek IP8331 allows for either PoE or 12V DC 24V AC power sources and includes Installation Wizard 2 for easy setup.
The IP8331 has 3 compression formats in H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG with dual streaming capabilities in VGA resolution. The free 32-channel ST7501 recording software from Vivotek makes the IP8331 perfect for up running right away and able to be viewed live by up to 10 users. Multi-level user access with password protection, IP address filtering, HTTPS encryption data transmission and 802.1X port-based authentication for network protection keeps your data protected, and the triple window video motion detection, tamper detection, and a D/I for an external sensor keeps your camera accountable. The Event Management sends notifications via HTTP, SMTP, or FTP, allows for local recording of MP4 files and the ONVIF compliance makes it capable of interoperability with other manufacturers.
