The Cisco Firepower® 1000 Series is a group of four firewall solutions that provide business resilience, administrative simplicity, and threat defense. When enhanced threat mechanisms are activated, they provide outstanding sustained performance. The 1000 Series is designed to meet use cases ranging from small offices to remote branches. Cisco Threat Defense (FTD) and Cisco ASA software are installed on 1000 Series systems.
