The Mediatrix 502-10 Survivable SIP Demarcation eSBC Session Border Controller - 10 VoIP Calls enables Quality of Service for IP Telephony and high-quality IP-TV on the LAN. It ensures service availability to all terminals on the LAN, and remote locations on the WAN.

The Mediatrix 502-10 eSBC provides Fast Ethernet and optional built-in ADSL modem interfaces, in addition to 2 FXS Ports for analog adapter and 1 FXO Port working as a gateway for calls from SIP-based IP telephony systems to Public Switch Telephone Networks. This can be used for emergency calls, IP telephony back-up and integration of wired lines.

The Mediatrix 502-10 eSBC also includes an embedded Enterprise Router " " Firewall with 4-Port Ethernet Switch fully addressing real-time and SIP-based applications on the LAN.
