16 ports on the Netgear JGS516PE Gigabit Switch delivers up to 2000 Mbps of dedicated, non-blocking bandwidth per port. The JGS516PE gives you control to configure beyond plug-n-play connectivity so you can prioritize voice and video. Build multiple network groups to make your network more manageable and allocates resources where they need to go.

The traffic management methods on this Gigabit switch include 10/100/1000 speed with QoS, VLAN support for traffic segmentation, and network monitoring. The JGS516PEhas QoS for traffic prioritization, auto DoS prevention, troubleshoot connection issues via cable test, loop prevention and broadcast storm controls, IGMP snooping v1, v2, and v3 support for multicast optimization, rate limiting for better bandwidth allocation, port mirroring for network monitoring, and jumbo frame rate.
