You can broadcast audio from the Algo 8301 through multicast over the network to IP endpoints, Algo speakers and multicast supported telephones as well. The Algo 8301 Paging Adapter contains a line output that can be used to link audio to legacy analog paging systems. If required, audio can be transmitted simultaneously to IP endpoints and legacy infrastructure. A music input works with an Apple iPod and other sources via a 3.5mm stereo jack. By combining the left and right stereo channels a balanced mono signal compatible with public address (PA) infrastructure is generated. The volume of the music can be controlled through the Audio Input Volume setting in via the web interface of the Algo 8301 and manually. The microphone utilizes an XLR connector that works with dynamic microphones that do not need phantom power. Microphone volume is controlled through the Audio Input Volume option in the Algo 301 web interface too.
