Adtran NetVanta 4148 Router 17004148F1 Overview

The Adtran NetVanta supplies four routed, autosensing Gigabit interfaces and an 8-port Ethernet switch. It is perfect for carrier bundled service offerings up to 1Gbps, and enterprise-class Internet access for fast and secure connectivity. The Adtran NetVanta contains an adaptable hardware platform that is enhanced by the ADTRAN Operating System (AOS). The AOS supports static and default routes, demand, and policy-based routing, and rapid, accurate network convergence through the use of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIP, and PIM Sparse Mode for multicast routing. Security is becoming increasingly important now more than ever. The Adtran AOS has a high-performance, strong stateful inspection firewall. The firewall can detect and guard against well-known DoS attacks such as TCP syn flooding, IP spoofing, ICMP redirect, ping-of-death (that sounds scary!), and IP reassembly issues. You easily control the 4148 Router through Adtran's remote n-Command MSP platform. This platform can find devices, make mass configuration changes or firmware upgrades, backup/restore configuration, and create inventory reports for asset management.
