Valcom VIP-804A Quad Networked Page Zone Extender

The Valcom VIP-804AQuad Networked Page Zone Extender enables voice access to four zones of one-way paging over an IP-based LAN/WAN. This allows page zone extension anywhere on the network.

Valcom VIP-804A Product Overview

The Quad Networked Page Zone Extender Model VIP-804 provides a single 10/100 Ethernet port, 4 audio input/output circuits, 4 Digital contact closure inputs and 4 N.O. relay contact outputs. The VIP-804A provides all circuitry and software to convert network data to zone page audio output. It also provides all circuitry and software to convert input audio to zone page audio and control information suitable for transmission to other Valcom IP Solutions products over a data network. The Quad Networked Page Zone Extender Model VIP-804A is part of a serverless Network based communications system.

The VIP-804A can be powered via either an external 24 V DC power supply or via a 802.3af PoE Ethernet switch port.

All setup and configuration of the Quad Networked Page Zone Extender Model VIP-804A is via the Valcom VIP-102 IP Solutions Setup Tool. The VIP-804A is constructed of steel and be wall, table or rack mountable.
