Digium TE132 Single Span PCI PRI Card

The Digium TE132 PRI Card is designed to utilize state-of-the-art technologies to support environments that require high-performance, cost-effective digital telephony cards. The TE131 and TE132 round out the Digium TE13x lineup by providing versions of the existing TE133 and TE134 that do not include hardware-based echo-cancellation. It is important to note that the TE132, unlike many other Digium cards, cannot be upgraded with hardware-based echo cancellation through the use of modules. The TE132 relies purely on software-based echo cancellers or are to be used in environments that do not require echo cancellation.

The Digium TE132 is ideal for Enterprise Phone Systems, Legacy PBX/IVR Services, Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services, Complex IVR Trees, “Meet-Me” Bridge Conferencing, VoIP Gateways (supports SIP, H.323 and IAX) and Calling Card Platforms.

The TE132 has the ability to create a seamless network, interconnecting traditional telephony systems with Voice over IP technologies. The TE132 card supports industry standard telephony protocols, including Primary Rate ISDN (both North American and Euro Standard) protocol families for voice. Both line-side and trunk-side interfaces are supported, as well as advanced call features. Customers requiring hardware-based echo cancellation should continue to purchase Digium’s TE133 and TE134 cards instead. With the combination of Digium hardware and Asterisk software, numerous telephony configurations are possible. From the traditional PBX to VoIP gateways, Digium solutions are paving the way for a new generation of worldwide communications.
