The MOBOTIX MX-SM-OPT-POL is perfect for situations when using the non-hemispheric sensor modules L25 to L160, you can replace the lens cover (made of glass) with a polarization filter. A real life example of where this would come in handy is for recognition of people through the windshield of a car. This filter from MOBOTIX reduces the mirror reflection.
