The Panasonic KX-TGP550includes all of the benefits and features of the KXTGP500 with the the addition of a corded base unit.

Panasonic KX-TGP550 Product Overview

The Panasonic KX-TGP550responses to the needs of SIP IP-Centrix/Hosted PBX systems and Asterisk users. Conveniently, no need to setup a system telephone at every base. This system also enables you to use a range of convenient services provided by the carrier such as Call Forward, Voice Mail etc. Also, this system can be used as a wireless terminal for widely-known Asterisk/Switchvox and so the uses of this system have become wider and wider.

Q: Is PoE enabled on the phone?

A: Unfortunately, KX-TGP550 does not support Power over Ethernet (POE).

Having a mute button on the cord is preferred.

A: Any headset with a 2.5mm Headset Jack. Or, you could try a quick connect cable with a higher-end headset. The Sennheiser products are good. The cable (Sennheiser CCEL190-2) and headset (Sennheiser SC 260) are good quality.

Q: DOES THIS PRODUCT PROPERLY SUPPORT RING CENTRAL'S VOIP SERVICE?

A: It should, but to be sure you would have to reach out to Ring Central. Sorry, but we don't have a list of supported phones for Ring Central.
