The Mediatrix C711 Series offers a wide variety of configurations combining FXS and FXO interfaces for multiple applications in a single platform. It is available with 4 and 8 telephony ports and connects up to 8 analog phones, modems, or fax machines; or connects up to 8 PSTN or PBX trunk lines to an IP network.

The Mediatrix C711 Series support a wide variety of applications requiring connectivity between analog devices and trunk lines from the local carrier with IP networks, and is designed to adapt analog devices like Point-Of-Sales, Fax machines and Telephones for communications over IP.

In addition to the benefits of the existing Mediatrix VoIP Adaptors and Gateways, the C7 Series offers a cost effective solution including a combination of FXS and FXO interfaces. The C7 Series is the preferred alternative to address specific low density needs for SMB applications (Small- and Medium-sized Business).

Mediatrix C711 - Technical Specifications

IP Telephony Protocol

  • SIP – RFC3261. Multiple SIP Proxy support via DNS SRV, Multiple registrations, SIP over TLS, TCP and UDP. Seamless fallback across redundant servers. Multiple Virtual gateways, PRACK and UPDATE.
  • IPv6 addressing - Most network-related features of the Mediatrix unit receiving and sending packets on the Internet protocol can be used on both IPv4 and IPv6.
    OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) revocation status verification for TLS links.
  • ANAT grouping in the SDP.
  • Media stream may now be on a different network than SIP signalling. - Call router automatic routes may now have multiple SIP gateways for sources and destinations.
