A powerful VoIP Analog Telephone Adapter with Router function
G508, which has 8 FXS ports , one LAN port and one WAN port, is one of the most popular VoIP ATAs researched and produced by FlyingVoice. This product can not only provide 8 SIP lines for users to make calls, but also it is a wire-speed NAT router, make you enjoy easy network atmosphere. What’s more, G508 support T.38 real time FAX and T.30 FAX with G.711.
G508 is a stand-alone device, which requires no PC to make Internet calls. This ATA guarantees clear and reliable voice quality on Internet, which is fully compatible with SIP industry standard and able to interoperate with many other SIP devices and software on the market.
How to Connect G508 to the Internet ?
1) Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into the WAN port on the back panel of the G508 and the other end
of the cable to your existing broadband connection port.
2) Connect the LAN port on the back panel of the G508 to your conventional ATA using a standard ATA
cabling.
3) If need to set us a small LAN network, the G508 should work in router or bridge mode so that you or more people can access to the Internet through G508. Then you need to connect your PC or LAN connection equipment to the LAN port on the back panel of the G508 using Ethernet cable.
4) Connect the power adapter to the power port at the back panel of G508 and then plug another end of power adapter into a wall outlet or power strip. The LED of G508 will turn on to indicate operated properly.
Notice: please do not attempt to use other different power adapter or cut off supply during configuration or updating G508 IP ATA. Using other power adapter may damage G508 and will void the manufacture
warranty.
Ways to Configure G508
There are three ways to configure G508: use IVR, use provision and use WEB GUI, recommend is WEB GUI. And you can configure only some parameters through IVR, like WAN port IP address, WAN port IP mode, Subnet mask and so on. User presses **** to start IVR, and the IVR will lead you to configure. Every time you finish some changes, you may need reboot G508 to make the changes take effective. Details about IVR, please refer to G508 user manual. Provision is also a convenient way to make configurations, to get more information about provision, please refer to provision user manual. And you can configure all the parameters of G508 through WEB GUI, login to G508’s webpage, then you can begin to configure.

2) Connect a FAX machine to G508’s FXS port, register an account and send FAX;
