From Mike Kehoe at 3/12/2014 8:00 PM
Q: I am a solo attorney. I have a support person who answers the phone for me. Does this phone have an intercom type feature that allows her to "buzz" me and let me know who's calling? If not, which phone(s) has that feature? Thanks.
A: It is achievable on Cisco SPA303G but Feature requires support by call server.
Q: I'm just looking for a desk phone that has a hold feature. I don't need any other feature. Would this be something that I'm looking for? Other desk phones I found in future shop or bestbuy seem not so durable. Thanks.
A: All Cisco products are reliable. Yes Cisco SPA303g will work fine with Call hold feature you are looking for.
Q: Can I configure this phone from the menu WITHOUT having to connect to network/server/PBX first? Competing product required access to config file on server, but if it can't see the network (out of date firmware/rom/bios) ...
A: I am not showing anywhere in the phone to configure it. It has to be done from the web. In turn you will need to have an IP address to set the phone up
